I was approached by Subsim to produce a commercial film for luxury candle company Urban Apothecary.
The brief was to create a dark, texture heavy film that evoked memories and essense of fragrance, I used the bold monochrome branding to film the various products against concrete and dark reflective surfaces within my studio set up.
Incorporating smoke, flame and ink motion graphic elements I used real textures from the candle products for each sequence.
